Spot the ghost: tales from Japan’s haunted lanes

Remember watching this very popular horror flick called The Grudge? I guess every person having a penchant for horror genre must have watched this one movie set in the old lanes and torn houses of some really old Japanese city. Well, there are several other movies out there that portrayed Japan as one scary country. There is absolutely no denying that Japan has more than its fair share of ghostly places and haunted tales. It is actually not a surprise considering the violent history of the country and what all it went through over a period of time. There are some places in Japan’s oldest cities that will fill you with a sense of creepiness from within.
