Guwahati’s unique longest river ropeway inaugurated for public use

According to the latest reports, the 2-km long ropeway connects the north and south banks of the Brahmaputra river. It is a huge achievement for India; it's for the first time ropeway towers have been constructed deep inside a major river bed.
