In a first, Indian Railways to run 20 pairs of ‘clone trains’ from September 21

The Ministry of Railways has announced that clone trains will be running on high traffic routes to facilitate the travel of waitlisted passengers. It has been announced that it will deploy 20 pairs of ‘clone special trains’ from September 21, in addition to the 310 special trains that are operating currently. This is the first time that the Indian Railways is running clone trains. Reportedly, reservation for these trains will start from September 19.
