This airport in Germany took nearly a decade in the making

Germany’s Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER) is among the most controversial airports in the world. After facing several turmoils for almost a decade, the airport finally opened to the public on October 31 this year, and the first planes landed at 2 PM, marking the moment. Being Germany’s most ‘melodramatic’ and long-delayed airport, all eyes were on the airport and a huge number of Berliners were present there just to watch planes take off from the brand new runways.
