Saudi Arabia records 67% growth in international travel since 2019

Saudi Arabia recorded 67 per cent growth in international travel between 2019 and 2025, significantly outpacing the Middle East and global averages, according to Tourism Economics. Leisure travel is also gaining share of visitor spending, while Chinese luxury travellers emerge as a key long-term opportunity. Riyadh’s hotel market is expected to see strong growth, with RevPAR forecast to rise 18.6 per cent in 2027.
